Never give up!!!

Hello everyone,

We got a call this morning from our social worker in NC and she spoke with the birth mother last night for over an hour. She said that she has not had the baby yet, but is dilated and could have the baby any time. She also stated to our social worker that she can't stop thinking about the family (us) that wants to adopt her baby. She said that maybe this is the sign she needed to make her decision. She also said she wants to talk to Heidi and I on the phone, so we will most likely be doing that sometime today. So...please please pray that our phone conversation may go well and that it makes her feel more confident and comfortable about her decision. She also requested that we e-mail her pictures of baby boy clothes that we already have.

The last few days have been very difficult with not knowing if she had the baby or not, but with tons of prayer and support from everyone, this just reassures us that we are not in control, and that God has a plan for everything. We will continue to update as we find more out. Again, thanks everyone for their encouragement and support. We are truely blessed to have such a strong support system.
