Day #2

Today was spent meeting with Eden's birth mother and birth grandmother, taking a nap, and going shopping at a local mall. The mall was about 30 miles from our motel. There is a big race, the Coca-Cola 600 this weekend in the same town as the mall, so it was rather busy there. After we got back from the mall Ryan and Aniah went swimming in the pool. Aniah is very brave when it comes to water and would not be afraid to jump in even if I was not right there. Thankfully I was there to catch her every time. Eden is awake by mommy as I type this and all is well. She did rather well last night, considering it was her first night with us. She got up a couple times to eat, but struggled to sleep in her crib. Needless to say, most of her night was spent sleeping on either mom or dad's chest. She is such a good little baby. She is very content, and really the only time she cries is when she has a dirty diaper or is hingry. We are very thankful for this. Aniah is doing GREAT with being a big sister. She wants Eden to constantly have a paci in her mouth. It is rather cute. She loves to give her kisses and watch her.
