Adria Fayth

We welcomed Adria Fayth into our family today. Ryan and I got the call about Adria last week Monday, but decided to keep things quiet, until it was for sure. Ryan and I left on Monday morning and drove for two days and then got to North Carolina on Tuesday night. We got to meet Adria at the NICU today. She is still in the NICU because she was born early and is still working on eating before she can be discharged. We could not take the girls along as they could not be in the NICU. We left them in very capable hands with family, but miss them dearly. We are very sad to miss Aniah's 6th birthday on Saturday.

Adria was born on May 3 and weighed 5 lbs. 2 1/2 oz. and was 18 inches long. Today she is 4lbs. 13 oz. She is doing very well and we hope to be discharged this weekend or early next week. We will then wait for ICPC approval and then start heading back to Iowa. Traveling back with a premie will be difficult, so we ask for prayers for that.

This process has gone very quickly and all 3 girls are 8 days apart from each other! Lots of May Birthday parties and lots of hair for me to do!! Adria is such a blessing and we are amazed how God chose her for our family. The adoption process is difficult, but God is so good. We are just in awe of how blest we are!!

Thank you to all of you who prayed for us, helped us financially, helped us with watching the girls, and supported and encouraged us. We could not get through this without you guys!
