I wanted to share a post from a fellow blogger friend on open adoption. I love how she explained open adoption and what it means. We have a similar experience with our girls' adoption, one closed and one open. Open adoption is often portrayed wrongly and greatly misunderstood. Open adoption can be so lovely and can really be good for the birth family, adoptive family, and the adopted child. Loving birth parents is so important.
