Closer to seeing family & friends...

Only 1 more day left in the big state of NC. Tomorrow we will be packing up as we have to leave our hotel at 6:30am Thursday morning to catch our flight. Today was rather relaxing again. We went to the United States White Water Center. It is a place where they train in kayaking and white water rafting for the Olympics. It was pretty cool. We watched numerous people going down the rapids in kayaks. Something neither of us have seen. They also had a place where groups could pay to go white water rafting. Definately not the same thing as natural river rapids, but as close as it's gonna get. We then ate lunch at the restaurant they had there. It overlooked the rapids. We could watch them kayak and hear the rushing water as we ate. It was pretty soothing. When we got back to our hotel we took our usual naps with the girls. I (Ryan) then went to the UPS store to ship some of the stuff that we baught back to Iowa. When we came our suitcases were all exactly 50 pounds, so we knew anything we bought here would need to be shipped back. Have a good Wednesday!!!
